You know that feeling when you walk into a room and immediately think… yes. This is exactly where I’m supposed to be?
That’s what women who attend a Bali business retreat describe in the first hour of arrival. Not excitement, exactly. Something quieter and deeper than that. A recognition. A remembering of something they’d forgotten about themselves: that they built a business to create this kind of freedom, and they’re finally, actually using it.
If you’re a woman entrepreneur who’s been running hard, building something meaningful, and quietly wondering what it would feel like to work from somewhere extraordinary, this post is for you. We’re pulling back the curtain on what a luxury women’s business retreat in Bali actually looks, feels, and functions like, from sunrise to the sacred temple ceremony that women talk about for years afterward.
Why Bali Is the World’s Premier Destination for Women Entrepreneurs
Bali isn’t just beautiful (though it is, breathtakingly so). It’s one of the few places in the world where luxury, spirituality, community, and productivity genuinely coexist in the same square mile.
A private villa in Ubud sits above rice terraces that have been farmed for a thousand years. The same morning, your WiFi is fast, your private chef has learned your dietary preferences, and a world-class spa is a ten-minute drive away. Bali holds all of these things without contradiction.
For women entrepreneurs specifically, those who need both the deep focus of a strategy session and the deep rest of a sound healing ceremony, Bali offers something no co-working retreat in a conference hotel can: an environment that feeds you while you work.
February, when the WEWT Elite Retreat takes place, is peak season: 75°F, low humidity, luminous light, and Bali’s cultural events in full swing.
A Day in the Life: What a Bali Women’s Business Retreat Actually Looks Like
This is the part no sales page ever quite captures. Here’s what a real day looks like, not the highlight reel, but the actual, hour-by-hour texture of it.
6am — Your private villa, rice terraces, a cup of coffee
Before the day has officially started, you’re sitting on your private terrace with coffee, watching the first light move across the rice terraces below you. The air is warm. The village below is waking up. You have nowhere to be for a full hour.
This moment, quiet, unhurried, and fully yours, is the one women cite most often when they describe what the retreat gave them. Not a workshop insight. Not a spa treatment. That hour.

7am — Private wellness session
A personal instructor leads your small group through yoga or movement on the villa’s open-air pavilion. With only 12 women maximum in the entire retreat, this is never a class. It’s a practice, guided around the people in the room.

8am — Breakfast by your private chef
Fresh, locally sourced, made for you. Eaten at a table where the conversation is already rich, because these women, your fellow retreat guests, are cut from the same cloth. They understand the loneliness of building something, and the thrill of it, and the relentlessness of it. You will leave this breakfast table feeling less alone than you have in years.
10am — Business workshops and co-working
Expert-led sessions on digital business mobility, profit optimization, and location-independent income. Then co-working time, either in the villa or at a curated nearby co-working space, where your work is treated as the serious, valuable thing it is.
This is not a retreat that tacks on a “business hour” as an afterthought. The professional development is substantive, structured, and led by experts who work with women entrepreneurs specifically.
2pm — Your spa treatment
Not a rushed 30-minute massage squeezed between sessions. A full, proper afternoon at a local luxury spa, the kind of treatment that makes you forget what month it is. Each woman in the retreat receives a scheduled spa experience as part of the program.
Evening — Dinner, fire table, rest
Dinner out as the sun sets. Back to the villa by 7pm. The fire table, where the real conversations happen, draws everyone together. By 9pm, you’re in bed and actually resting.
The Adventure Days: Bali Off the Tourist Trail
Tuesdays and Thursdays are adventure days, and they’re not optional sightseeing add-ons. They’re part of the curriculum of the retreat.
Your private female driver (yes, your driver is a woman too) picks you up and takes your small group to:
- Ancient Hindu temples draped in incense smoke and carved stone
- Hidden waterfalls in the jungle interior
- Traditional Balinese villages where the craftsmanship will stop you mid-sentence
- Coffee and spice plantations in the highlands
- Local cooking classes where you learn to make dishes you’ll attempt to recreate for years
- The Tegallalang rice terraces, UNESCO-listed, photographed a million times, and still capable of making you catch your breath
Every adventure day is curated around the specific women in your group. What you said you wanted to see, before you arrived.

The Sacred Water Ceremony: The Day Everyone Talks About
Saturday of the first week is the healing retreat day.
It begins with intention setting and yoga, moves through a sound healing session, and ends at a Balinese Hindu temple for a traditional sacred water purification ceremony, melukat, performed by a Balinese priest.
There is no marketing language that adequately describes what happens to a person in that ceremony. Women who are not spiritual by nature describe feeling something shift. Women who are deeply spiritual describe it as one of the most meaningful ritual experiences of their lives.
It is the day women talk about for years. We leave it here, without overselling it, because it deserves to stand on its own.

Frequently Asked Questions About the WEWT Bali Retreat
Do I need to be a full-time entrepreneur to attend?
No. Women at various stages of building location-independent income are welcome, whether you’re a solopreneur, a remote employee building a side business, or an established business owner looking to optimize.
Is this retreat truly women-only?
Yes. Every aspect of the retreat, including your private driver and local guide, is female. This is a consistent feature of all WEWT retreats and is fundamental to the community experience. And yes, trans-women are welcome!
What is the maximum group size?
12 women per week. This is a hard cap that will not be exceeded.
Do I need travel experience to attend?
No. First-time solo travelers and experienced digital nomads are all welcome. The structured itinerary, private driver, and group setting make this particularly accessible for women who haven’t traveled solo internationally before.
What is the weather like in Bali in February?
February is part of Bali’s shoulder season, warm (average 75°F / 24°C), with occasional rain showers that typically clear quickly. It is one of the best months to visit for a balance of good weather, active culture, and manageable tourist volume. That being said, it’s better if you can attend for 2 weeks in case we need to adjust the schedule for rain.
Can I extend my stay in Bali before or after the retreat?
Yes. Many women extend their trip independently. We’re happy to share our favorite hotels, neighborhoods, and recommendations for independent exploration.
Is there a payment plan available?
Yes. Reach out directly to discuss payment plan options if paying in full isn’t your preference.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
Your private chef is briefed on all dietary preferences and restrictions ahead of arrival. This is handled as part of the onboarding process once you book.
How do I book?
You can reserve your spot directly via the booking links below, or book a 20-minute call with WEWT founder Marybeth if you have questions first.
Ready to Say Yes to Yourself?
The most common thing women say after this retreat is some version of: I didn’t know I needed this until I was in it.
But you’re reading this because some part of you already knows.
Bali in February. A villa above the rice terraces. Coffee at 6am with nowhere to be. A table full of women who get it. Real work done in a real beautiful place. And a Saturday at a sacred temple that will stay with you the rest of your life.
This is what you built your business to be able to do.
